Citizen’s Bank was going green and wanted to let people know. Instead of using signs in their storefronts we suggested something different, creative and inspiring.
We installed interactive screens in the retail store displays of two key Citizens branches in Boston and Philadelphia. The screens reacted to pedestrians as they moved in front of the windows through an application that isolated upwards gestures the pedestrian made. Through a camera installed in the display that observed and analyzed the data, users’ movements grew grass and with enough movement grew flowers. The Green$ense bird also fluttered in the background dropping coins, symbolizing the 10 cents participants in the program receive with each paperless transaction.
