A lot of people were hesitantly walking up to pose next to these horses. Naturally, I ran right up and started scratching his nose and ears. He licked my hand for a couple of minutes, I think he liked having someone stand next to him that wasn’t afraid. His rider probably thought I was crazy.

After finding our adorable and well-located flat in London we headed out to see the sights. First stop, Westminster Abbey. The weather was surprisingly warm and sunny but so we spend quite a bit of time walking around outside before going inside for the audio tour.
I love a good train ride and this one was so much fun. I spend the entire ride starring out the window at the beautiful countryside. Until of course we went under the water then I just tried not to think about the fact that we were in a train under the water.
After a long day of sight seeing we were walking back to our apartment just as the sun was setting. We were walking past buildings we’d seen earlier in the day but with the sun glowing orange everything looked so beautiful. It felt like we were seeing everything for the first time.
